Huff Daland Aero Group is an aviation consulting firm providing advisory and representation services to aircraft owners, buyers, operators, and collectors. Based in Stafford, Virginia, we work with clients to guide aircraft purchase and sale decisions with meaningful financial and operational consequences.
Our role is to advocate for our clients and help ensure decisions are informed and disciplined—particularly early in the process, when clarity matters most. Drawing on more than 40 years of aviation experience, we help navigate complex considerations around mission requirements, valuation, asset protection, and risk tolerance, so decisions are made deliberately rather than reactively.
Buyer Services
We help clients buy the right aircraft—aligned with mission requirements, acquisition cost, and long-term operating considerations. Our focus is on decision quality early in the process, ensuring safety, configuration, and condition are well understood before significant financial or emotional capital is committed.
Representing our client’s interests first, we source and evaluate prospective aircraft, conduct disciplined due diligence, and guide clients through closing and delivery once the right aircraft is identified.
Seller Services
The reasons for selling an aircraft materially affect market strategy, pricing, and timing. We help clients navigate those considerations, establish realistic valuations, and prepare the aircraft and supporting materials for market.
Our goal is efficient execution without unnecessary concessions. When appropriate, we advise on targeted improvements or upgrades that may enhance marketability and improve overall capital return.
Advisory & Management Services
Our advisory services provide clarity around acquisition planning, disposition strategy, and long-term ownership decisions. With a holistic understanding of client requirements, we offer oversight and coordination related to maintenance activities, operational planning, and upgrade or restoration projects.
We work with trusted FAA-certified repair facilities and service providers to help ensure work is scoped appropriately and aligned with the client’s objectives.
